Ok, I just have to put in a plug for CleanTalk, a cloud anti-spam service for websites. This blog started getting spam comments from the start, usually about one or two a week, then it escalated into 20 to 30 per day! They were from all kinds of sites – attorneys, viagra, vitamins, etc. I didn’t know what to do so I searched for a plugin to help and ran across CleanTalk and decided to give them a try. I’m really amazed at how well it has worked. They have caught every single spam message and relieved me of having to deal with the problem. Now, I think the spammers have finally gotten the message and the spam messages have almost completely dropped off! For only $8 per year, it’s well worth it. Thank you CleanTalk!
