Cancellation and Refund Policy

We do automatic monthly billing to a major credit card for convenience and affordability. Monthly payments include the cost of the website design, hosting, domain name, any expense for add-ons or additional features, email addresses, email spam filtering and monitoring, ongoing software updates, and unlimited** pages and updates.
Your first month’s payment will be due once you agree to our terms of service and give the go-ahead to proceed with your website design. There are no refunds once the design has been approved and we have begun work. There are no refunds on any completed work. Work in progress may be cancelled, but payment will be due for all work completed at the time of cancellation and calculated at the rate of $50 per hour. Your liability will not exceed the total of your first 12 month’s payments.
We require a minimum 12-month contract to cover our initial cost of the design, hosting, domain name and any other additional expenses or services required to build the website. If you cancel the service prior to the end of the initial 12-month period, the outstanding balance for the remainder of the 12 months will become due and payable.
Upon completion of the initial 12-month period, your service will continue on a month-to-month basis, and you may cancel the service at any time without further obligation. Upon cancellation of your service, the website will be deactivated and hosting and domain name may be terminated. We do not refund partial-months on any recurring monthly payment. If you have paid for a month and cancel the service before the month has begun, we will issue a refund for that month. Upon payment of all outstanding charges and fees, the website content becomes your property and is transferable in the form of an exported database file using the “All in One WP Migration” plugin. The charge for a database transfer is $50.00.
In the event of non-payment, credit card decline, chargeback or disputed payment, every attempt will be made by us to contact you and resolve the issue. If we are unable to contact you or resolve the issue, your website (including hosting and domain) may be terminated after two consecutive months of non-payment, upon which any outstanding balance will become immediately due and payable. No refund will be issued if your service is terminated due to a policy violation.
Graphic design services are billed a one-time fee which is billed at 50% upfront with the remainder due and payable upon completion and acceptance of the design. Once a design is completed and payment has been received, there will be no refunds.
This policy may be amended at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of Visibility Websites services implies your acceptance of this policy, including future amendments, so we recommend that you review it from time to time.
